Chateau Chantal Introduces Tapas Tours

Chateau Chantal is proud to announce a new program being launched this summer called Tapas Tours.

A Tapas Tour will be a unique experience at the winery that will consist not only of an extensive and enlightening tour of the vineyard and winery, but will also include a tapas-style offering of small plates to be paired with own Chantal wines.

Tours are led by Assistant Manager, Andrew Olson, who will walk guests through the winemaking process from vine to wine, and then guide them through an exploration of the intricacies of wine and food pairing. A Tapas Tour will be a more comprehensive and informative experience than other tours offered at Chateau Chantal.

The tapas menu will include eight pairings of small plates with Chantal wines. The menu will include such pairings as prosciutto wrapped asparagus with a blanc de blanc champagne, whitefish pâté with a crisp Pinot Grigio, and luscious dark chocolate to accompany our award-winning cherry port wine, Cerise.

Tapas Tours start June 15 th and run Tuesdays through Saturdays until the end of August. Tours begin at 12:30 and last two hours. Tours will contain no more than 16 guests to ensure a warm and personal experience, and reservations are required at least 1 day in advance. The cost is $25 per person.

Guests are asked to bring an eager palate, an inquisitive mind, and a light jacket to wear as the tour ventures through the cool cellar.
